Kyra Whitworth volunteers at Harmony Tech Camp for Girls in the Code Club. She introduces girls to technology and engineering through hands-on activities.
"I want to encourage girls because the landscape of having a career is changing so quickly. It is easy to get discouraged and just seeing a person you can relate to in the field helps so much."
Kyra Whitworth, Broadcom Inc. ESH Specialist in Fort Collins
Broadcom Inc. Volunteers Make an Impact
Broadcom Inc. employees volunteer in local STEM programs and judge at local science fairs, serving as category or special award judges for the Broadcom Coding with Commitment® program to recognize a student in middle school who combines STEM learning with coding or computational thinking to solve a community problem they care about.

“This is a rare opportunity to keep a pulse on what young minds think are worthwhile issues to address using technology. Every single submission that I reviewed provided inspiration, and I shared the experience with my daughter who was equally inspired.”
Dave Cosgrove, Broadcom Inc., R&D Engineer, ESD
